It is a substantial upgrade in every way: excellent call/speakerphone/ring volume, 3/4G connectivity, great screen, and my personal favorite: SUPERB battery life!

The main disadvantage is battery. I hardly use my phone on some days when I am home all day but still battery drains like water. I have all automatic updates/weather/email accounts turned off even though it drains quickly. Other than battery life, it is a great phone indeed.

Love the phone but I am new to the Android network, so I still have a lot to learn. I like the phone and the features so far but my favorite thing is the keyring app. That was the main reason I wanted the phone. There are many other features I like also.

I did a lot of research when I purchased this phone. Motorola has always made some of the best phones so I was comparing all the Motorola equipment. I wanted something with good internal along with big expansion also I wanted the biggest display with the dual core processor, mini HDMI, and great looks well the Photon had it all. the battery life is a bit weak but what high end phone isn't, if you turn off the 4G when just using the phone which is very easy to do it stretches battery life. Other than that this is an awesome phone, easy to use, great resolution, I would recommend it highly!
